first quarter 20th century, the mirror surround with concentric turning, and set with a bold crest of a displayed eagle flanked with acanthus leaves and flower heads, the sides with scrolled candle arms set with leaf-carved sockets, the lower edge with pierced acanthus leaves.

Condition
In good "as found" condition. The piece exhibits some minor scuffs, abrasions, shrinkage and wear, including what appears to be oxidation to the finish. There is some gesso loss to a portion of the wires supporting the candle sockets. The mirror plate is flat, not convex.
