third quarter 19th century, the interior decorated with mandarin figures in the round, the exterior with panels of mandarin figures, framed with butterflies and peonies, the interior with a border of peonies and characters, on carved wooden bases.

Beautiful bowl in generally good condition. Small area of well-incorporated restoration fluoresces within the left portion of one exterior reserve depicting dancers and mandarins along with an angled scratch across the pink robe. This fluorescence extends a bit further into the left border. Interior with typical rubbing to the delicate details of several faces and a small loss or two to enamels. The above is consistent with age and use. There is only a single wooden base.
