Two French Belle Epoque Silver Specialty Flatware Sets
ca. 1900, by Alphonse Debain (1851-1916), Paris, first standard (.950) silver, including:
a fine nineteen-piece parcel-gilt berry or ice cream set with one serving spoon, l. 9-1/8", and eighteen individual spoons, l. 5", each with an "a la Russe" handle of square section with twist and block decoration and openwork spiral flame finial, the bowls each finely engraved with a different fruit; and
a set of twelve Louis XV-style forks with silver tines and filled silver handle, l. 5-5/8".
