Description
The Omnigraph was patented in 1903 by Charles Chinnock and was sold by the Omnigraph Co. of New York. They are machines that were used to teach people how to read Morse Code. This model has 13 stacked discs powered by a wind up spring motor. A battery and sounder was attached to the mechanism which would randomly select discs and send out the dots and dashes of the code. A governor regulates the speed so that it can be slowed down or speeded up depending on the students level. Mechanism is complete (no battery or sounder included), winds up and runs well but could use an oiling.
