Desirable mahogany cabinet. The lower cabinet has been professionally refinished and re-decaled and presents well. Top cover is in poor condition with serious damage. Front and back mouldings as well as curved top appear to be original mahogany (damaged in poor condition), right and left sides of the cover are made of oak. The authentic Edison oak sides were married together with the damaged mahogany cover. Missing top handle. Original model "C" reproducer with good stylus. 2/4 minute gear conversion. Upper mechanism and bedplate have nice original bright, shiny, black paint and pinstripes with minor wear. Carriage is fitted with shaving attachment. Original cast-iron slotted winding crank. Motor winds and runs. 14" long black and brass horn with 7.25" brass bell in overall good original condition. We believe this to be an old, original, after-market horn. Overall good condition with minor rust and pitting. Brass bell is riveted to the body which is unusual. See photos
