This pocket watch features an exceptional 14kt yellow gold round Swing-out open face case with a city mark of Chester, maker's mark of Thomas Helsby & Co and a date letter of 1825, hinged 14kt yellow gold textured floral bezel, 14kt yellow gold Clous de Paris case body, 14kt yellow gold textured floral bezel with central plain field case back, replaced acrylic crystal, gold tone textured dial with central Clous de Paris and tri colour floral swag surround, applied gold tune Roman numeral hours chapter, gold tone spade and whip hands, and a fine presumably English unsigned fusee movement with central diamond jewel, fancy cock, and dust cover. Total approx. weight of the case is 79.3 dwt (gross) including the movement and crystal, excluding the dust cover. From a Queens, NY estate. Dimensions: case measures approx. 50mm in diameter.
