Description
British, 19th/early 20th century, comprising: marquetry inlaid box of rectangular form, inlaid house decoration, hinged lid with inlaid star and flower basket design, open interior compartment flanked by two lidded compartments, single drawer with bone or ivory pull, 4-1/2 x 10-3/4 x 7 in.; marquetry inlaid cigar box, hinged lid with radiating star design opening to divided interior with three compartments, lid underside lettered "1 2 3", carved ring handle at back, 2-1/2 x 9-1/2 x 8-1/2 in.; miniature burlwood box of rectangular form with brass inlay and hardware, with key, 3 x 3-3/4 x 2-1/2 in.

surface dirt and accretion, scattered scratches and bumps; marquetry box with house design with scattered chips, areas of warping and lifting to veneers and inlay; miniature example with later cut out section in back of lid exposing nail (purpose unknown)
