Description
Qing Dynasty. The Box measures 5 3/8" Tall, 5 7/8" Wide, and 8 1/8" Deep. It weighs 1,614 Grams, or 3.56 Pounds. The Box has a mirror inside, which can be propped up at an angle. The box has some wear to use. Huanghuali, or "Flowering Pear" Wood, is a rare species of rosewood, produced in the Hainan Province of China, and this wood had once adorned imperial abodes. Huanghuali has witnessed a sharp price in recent years, due to increased demand and limited supply. The volume of new huanghuali wood originating in Hainan is so small, it has now been placed under State Protection, and might risk going extinct. In-House Shipping is Available.
