Professionally Restored Brenner Clamshell Crane

Description

United States,Circa 1940

A scarce "Big Derrick" pressed steel clamshell crane by Brenner Mfg. Co., toy was professionally restored by Quality First Antique Toy Restorations, Noblesville, Indiana, February 3rd, 2004. Toy now shows minute signs of aging and wear but overall presents beautifully. Per Jack's lovely hand written note "the only toy that got rusty" so he just had to get it fixed, please refer to photographs.

From the original childhood toy collection of Jack Pillar, Mystic, Connecticut. A gentleman who's love for collecting and caring of toys began as a child. One of thirty-five lots in the auction from his childhood originally purchased by his parents.
