Comprised of pitcher, wash basin and large jar with lid; each piece having a light green ground with extensive hand painted decoration and gilt accents: Pitcher with hand painted reserve of peasant girl holding a basket of flowers atop her head, sides with floral sprays and sprigs, gilt rim and handle; 12 1/2"H---Basin having hand painted floral sprays and sprigs on interior and exterior, gilt rim, 14 3/4" dia., 4 3/4"H---Large jar with lid, jar having hand painted reserve of peasant girl leaning on a spade, sides and back with floral sprays and sprigs, double scrolled gilt handles with foliate terminals, lid with floral sprigs and gilt fruit finial; approx. 10"W, 14 3/4"H; base of basin marked "H & Co. (with two lines below)" for Haviland & Co.; c. 1876-1886; all in good condition with some wear to gilt
