Vintage Sterling Mayan Face Brooch, Mexico, Signed M. Velazquez. Figural brooch of an Incan/Mayan face with headdress and earrings and beaded accents at neck. It is2.25" tall and appx. 1.75" wide. Mraked on the back Made in Mexico, Sterling and signed M. Velazuea. Age is estimated at 1930's-1940's. Older style clasp on the pin dating it pre 1950's. Weight is appx. 24.80 grams. Very good condition other than light oxidation that looks great on this brooch. I wouldn't remove it but that is up to the buyer's preference. (W10822.2X8 SS8592 J LD 10/13/22).
