Kerouac's "Evergreen Review" with Published Article, From His Estate
Jack Kerouac's personal "Evergreen Review" Volume 1, No. 4. London: Grove Press Inc., 1957. Twelvemo, 160pp, with two photos at the back. With an article by Kerouac entitled "Seattle Burlesque." Photographic paper wraps. Stamped with both a Jack Kerouac Estate stamp and the raised blind seal from the Executor of the Estate, John Sampas, who was the brother-in-law of Jack Kerouac and the brother of Stella Kerouac, Jack's wife. Toning to the internal page edges. Cover edges have small tears. Binding is cocked and there is minor corner bumping. A few spots of ink staining. Overall very good.
