MID-ATLANTIC PAINTED POPLAR DOUGH BOX, typical form with removable two-board top, dovetailed case, and splayed, ring-turned legs. Retains an old varnished surface. Mid 19th century. 28" H, 45 1/2" x 19" top.
Provenance: From the collection of Bob and Dixie Moore, Deer Park, MD.
Discovered in Cumberland, MD.
