Offered is a Model US 1872 Cavalry Officer's Sword with Scabbard. Blade marked "C. Lombardi & Co, New York", which was the retailers name. Brass hilt with three bar guard and wire wrapped leather grip. Blade measures approx. 31-1/2" long,overall sword length approx. 38". Both sword and scabbard are in rough condition throughout. Scabbard has remnants of tape that was around it.
