DESCRIPTION: An antique 19th century French encrier inkwell desk set with richly-veined 'Verde Antico' marble base mounted with a pair of gilt-bronze inkwells (with interior porcelain inserts) flanked on either side of a young Napoleon gilt bronze bust. The rectangular veined marble base with pen tray rest on shaped circular feet. Includes matching ink blotter.
