Description

DESCRIPTION: Antique gilt bronze, cloisonne, tripod censer in three parts featuring curved handles. Piece is fashioned to release incense from holes in the gilt bat and cloud designs in its lid crowned with a gilt dragon finial. Lid is mounted on a removable lip which nestles into the body, all three of which are decorated with floral and foliage designs. Piece is finished with beast form faces devouring each leg ending in a beast form foot.
CIRCA: 18th to 19th Century
ORIGIN: China
DIMENSIONS: H: 8.25" W: 4.5" L: 6.5"
