Portrait of William Robert Cusack-Smith, 4th Baronet, 1822 - 1919. Seated in hunting attire, holding a fowling piece with his gun dogs, Ruby, Snipe and Sam. Watercolour. Contained in its original gilt frame. Note: The Cusack-Smith family seat was at Newtown in Co. Offaly, Ireland. Sir Robert was educated at Rugby School, served as an officer in the 4th Royal Wurtemburg Lancers and was the author of Our war-ships: a naval exercise (1886).73 x 61 cm.
