Born in Leiden in 1606, Rembrandt attended the Leiden Latin School. He briefly attended the University of Leiden but left to study art under some of the best artists of his time. Known for his historic portraits, Rembrandt is considered one of the greatest visual artists in the history of art. MEASUREMENTS: 15-5/8" high x 11-1/8" wide; mat and frame 6" wide.
