Two Sets of Palmer Family Sheets Embroidered with "BMHP" & "PP", 19th Century

This lot contains two sets of sheets, totally nine items. The first set of sheets feature the initials "PP" and an embroidery style that suggest they were used by Potter Palmer I. The second set of sheets feature the initials "BMHP" for Bertha Matilde Honore Palmer. Both sets of sheets come directly from the family.

THE FIRST - SET ONE
This lot contains 3 items: one large sheet, two pillow cases. All embroidered with PP motif and a thistle pattern surrounded by extensive drawnwork.

Condition:
THE FIRST
The overall condition is very good with some small spots at the border of the pillowcases.
THE SECOND
The overall condition of the sheets is good while the pillow cases are in fair condition, with darkening and spots at the center of the pillow cases and signs of wear throughtout, two small holes along the border of the pillow cases.
