Potted with a globular straight vessel, round mouth lip, short neck with dome flat lid, emerging three ring flanked on shoulder, raised on ring foot base slight concave. Warm and uniform Bean Green Douqing Glazed glaze applied to the surface, only the outer bottom is white glazed. Green is the most important variety of China’s porcelain. Green stands for health, prosperity, and harmony. In Chinese culture, green stands for cleanliness and purity from contamination. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a four under glazed green script characters reign mark, enclosed within double rings. Made in The Years of Yongle Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
