Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Plate. The plate has a broad wide central interior, round mouth lip, thick and large, raised on correspondence footed ring base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against blue color, depicted of auspicious ornament, ruyi petals, scrolling interlocking tendril and lotus flowers bloom. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the under glaze greyish-blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze and turning a deep blue-black. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine blue rings. Made in The Years of Yongzheng Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
