Pair of Huanghuali Chinese stools, constructed with square top panel, enclosed the woven cane mat seat set within a rectangular frame, surmounted the open gallery apron, with hoofed rails terminating the four straight legs leading to hoofed foot. Having dense hardwood and fine grain with lustrous patina, the Huanghuali wood displays a translucent shimmering surface with abstractly figured patterns appearing like ghost faces motif.

Over all in EXCELLENT condition. Some stress of wear. Natural wood imperfection, wood joint mark, minor scratches and dents. Normal consider ages and wears.
