Late 19th/early 20th century Vienna porcelain iridescent-burgundy ground vase, finely painted in the Orientalist taste; to one side a portrait of a partially-clad woman seated next to a vessel issuing water; the other side scenic; signed Marz between gilt-enriched flower sprays in the Art Nouveau taste. Underside with title Klysti and decorator's overglaze gold mark, possibly Saxonian Porcelain Factory Carl Thieme. Approx. height 12.32 in.

Examined under blacklight. There is no evidence of chips, cracks, repairs or restoration. Minor wear to gold enameling particularly noted around the mouth and rim of the foot commensurate with contact with the surface. Traces of old sticker remnants - most have come off since photography - see image #5. All items are sold as-is where-is. With all faults and errors.
