Lot of 19th and early 20th century pharmaceutical memorabilia to include: 19th century photo on board of the shop of Philip Gauss, Druggist. Overall size H 8-1/2" W 6-1/2". Late 19th-early 20th century photo of the inside of Eberle's Pill Shop, Watertown, Wisc. Shows a fully stocked pharmacy around the turn of the 20th century. Overall size: H 7-5/8" W 9-3/4". photo is fine, stains and chips to the matteboard. Prospectus of the College of Pharmacy of the City of New York. 1889 New York. 78 pp plus 14 pp of ads at the end, H 9-3/4" W 5-3/4". Minor chips and a few stains to cover, overall very good. Parke, Davis, & Co. Manufacturing Pharmacists. Detroit, Michigan. Catalog for 1891. With separate "Confidential Net Prices to the Trade. H 6-7/8" x W 4-1/4" With loop of string intact, to hang off a hook. Very good. 1892 Eli Lilly & Co. Pharmaceutical Chemists, Indianapolis Kansas City. 96 pp. H 9" W 4-1/4". Pictorial paper covers, excellent condition, with loop of pink string for hanging intact. Collection of 22 Special Tax Stamps, issued to E. Singer, 3rd District, New York, for dispensing Opium, Coca Leaves, Marihuana,etc. Covers the years 1931-1953. Mostly H 3-1/2" W 6-1/4". Excellent condition. 2 fine French engraved letterhead invoices, 1843 and 1848 from two firms in Amiens. Age darkening, some stains and folds as expected, still quite presentable. 19th c. business card for Orlando C. Stewart, Physician and Surgeon, Dealer in Drugs...Cookport, PA. Minor wear. Prescription (not able to decipher) with an ad for Granulated Opium on the back. ca.1899. Corner chips and wear. 1882 ad card for Magnetized Food forn Sale by Opera Pharmacy, Chumar & Son...New York. H 4-1/4" x W 3-1/4", in the shape of a horseshoe magnet. Color illus. on front. Magnetized food was fruits and cereals "vitalized" by magnetism. Very good. Small 4 pp ad pamphlet For the Testimony in favor of W.W. Clark's...Infallible Worm Destroying Syrup...Philadelphia. No Date (1870-80?). H 7-1/4" W 4-1/4". Minor folds, excellent condition. Lydia E. Pinkham Medicine Co. Lynn, Mass. May 13, 1901. Letterhead with a letter to Anna E. Becker from "Mrs. Pinkham" with the letter "H" underneath. The letter assures Mrs. Becker that her vegetable compound "is excellent to take during pregnancy it strengthens the generative organs and relieves pain during labor." H 8-1/2" W 11".
