Most 19th century Masonic aprons don’t indicate who their owner was, however this one bears an inscription WILLIAM F. YOUNG, father of EMERLINE YOUNG WAKEFIELD, mother of (Some spelling Enaline JAMES YOCUM WAKEFIEID, father ofor Fraline ??) JAMES WALTER WAKEFIELD, father ofMARTHA EVELYN WAKEFIELD PRESCOTT, mother ofEVELYN ELOIS PRESCOTT BURRILL SMILES, mother ofDAVID PRESCOTT BURRILL, - - and JOHN STANTON BURRILLfather ofDANIEL BARNETT BURRILL andMEGAN ELIZABETH BURRILLThe name W. F. Young is visible under the top drape of the apron. He died in England in 1817. (Apparently no where near his home where his apron was probably kept.)The apron is hand painted, water colors on white satin. MUSEUM PIECES.
