Such a wonderful piece. Oscar loves this piece. Oscar is our residentantique auto specialist and part time Door Dasher here at Magnum Auctions. He and his wife Jessebell loved camping. They would go all of three miles down the road by the interstate to the campground just off the side of the road. Sure there was lot of road noise, but they were hard of hearing and didn't notice any nor did they mind it. Besides that, because of the constant traffic, most of the camping sites had been vacated and the ones remaining had super cheap rent. Why does Oscar love this piece? Well you see, Oscar loved to fish. While Jessebell spent the bulk of her time in the camper, Oscar would spend hours on the small reclaimed concrete sidewalk beach there at the campground fishing the day away. The blue of this vase reminds him of the wonderful sky blue on all of those wonderful vacations he and Jessebell used to take. Alas, those days are gone, and gone forever. You see, Jessebell was venturing off while Oscar was fishing and visiting her much younger beau at the nearby hotel. As the May-December romance continued, it convinced Jessebell she deserved a much younger virile man and with that she left poor Oscar. What a sad, but true, story. You know the old attage though...paybacks. Yep Oscar found himself a 22 year old endowed stripper from one of those online dating sites. So indeed, all is well with our resident Oscar. At 105 and his new 22 year old gal, they share a newborn set of twins. That's right. The get up and go didn't get up and leave after all. Imagine being the proud papa at 105. Touching huh? This lovely measures a mere 7 3/4" tall.
