Description

This dapple-gray Horse Pull Toy remains mounted on its original platform (with label) with 4 wheels. It is (most likely) made out of papier-mache (it is very light) and measures about 17” from nose to tail; the platform is 6” wide and the horse (with platform) is about 18” tall. It is in fine to very fie condition: full horsehair tail and only minor surface scuffing. Leather bridle and chest strap are present but the horse’s ears are gone and there is a paint chip under the saddle on the right side and a short ½” crack in the paint on the left front leg. The piece has a paper label: “Les Jouets Clerc” indicating that it is of French arigin. Buyer to pay actual postage, to be determined after the auction.
