Fine Reggie Meaders Double Face Jug circa Late 1980s. This is a great example of fine southern folk pottery with this signed Reggie Meaders (Late) of Mossy Creek, White County Georgia and is one highly sought after folk potters. Reggie unique facial features make for a great face jug. This one is double with the classic look with green eyes, and highly detailed face. The other side was going to be a Devil face but after putting on the horns and glazing the jug, he decided to take the horns off. One can see where the hors once were and are fired over. This was done before firing as seen in pictures. The condition is mint example and is a great piece for any folk pottery collector. Fresh form the Lake Lanier collection. Standing 9 1/4" Tall
