Mary was a fantastic self taught southern folk artist, this oil painting of a Fall North Georgia Farm scene that shows her wealth of knowledge of the simple but plain North Georgia farm life during her childhood. This is a stellar example with highly detailed farm life with apple picking, butter churning, and simple but practical farm life duties. This is a museum grade folk art painting and is sure to make a welcomed addition in any folk art collection. Condition is outstanding, these hung in the local Gainesville Georgia Bank since they were purchased. Her works have also made welcomed additions to collections such as President Jimmy Carter, also the Late Senator Ted Kennedy. Size-Canvas 24" x 36"
