Pair of Royal Vienna Hand-Painted Porcelain Lidded Urns with Cobalt Ground, Signed C. Keer, 19th Century, a pair of cobalt blue urns on square bases, decorated with blue and white vine and scrollwork designs, one urn with scene from the classical Ariadne myth, depicting a classically dressed woman hailing a boat in the distance with kneeling cherub beside her, signed 'C. Keer' lower right (the base of the urn titled, Ariadne, Austria), the other urn with a scene of a classically dressed female figure holding a bow above her head and out of reach of a cherub beside her signed 'C. Keer' lower right (the base titled 'Amor entrivaffnet, Austria), each urn with small vignettes of classically dressed figures on backs and the lids signed 'Austria' on interior rim.

Measurements: Height: 11 1/2 in. x Width: 4 in.

Overall good condition, finial on one lid broken and repaired, wear to gilt, particularly on handles and along edges.
