Description
Paint on wood. 21.25"h x 31.75"w Lucile went to school when she could at an all-black school in an all-black community within Niota called Lanetown. She was the daughter of Ann and Ross Neil, the oldest of 10 children. On Nov. 5, 1932 she married Alonzo Smith, also from Lanetown.
