SSP. Scarce C. 1920's Porcelain Service Station Topper Sign from Shell Gasoline. This large three dimensional Porcelain Shell originally sat atop Shell Service Stations and display beautifully. CONDITION: Sign shows excellent color & gloss throughout the field showing minimal areas of light age wear with four areas of nicely done touch ups in the field, most of which are not noticeable unless in direct light. Sign shows one touch up near the base as well as some minimal outer edge nicks and light stains. The mounting base is in very good condition and lays flat and the Sign shows its original mounting bracket at the backside. An excellent displaying piece of early Shell Service Station Signage.
