Description
Two American counter-top chests, comprising a pine nine-drawer apothecary chest, 19th century, having rabetted joints and nailed construction throughout; and a thirty-five drawer oak watchmaker's chest, early 20th century, nailed construction throughout.

Condition
The pine chest in an overall refinished condition, possibly once having a painted Surface, heavy marks, wear, scuffs, scratches and losses throughout. Several of the turned knobs with small losses and repairs. The oak watchmaker's chest with heavy fading, staining, dings, dents and small losses throughout. Each of the brass knobs with extensive oxidation and verdigris. One drawer is lacking a knob. Many of the drawers stick when trying to open them.
