DESCRIPTION: A Pierre-Auguste Renoir (French, 1841–1919) "Portrait of Berthe Morisot" etching on paper. Signed on the plate in the lower left. Realized after Pierre-Auguste Renoir's engraving of 1892. The etching was first published in 1924 in Duret's volume ''Renoir''. Signed in the plate lower left, in reverse. The artwork represents a portrait of the French painter Berthe Morisot, Manet's sister-in-law and close friend of all major impressionists.
