DESCRIPTION: Antique Mughal Indian khanjar (dagger) presenting an unusual serpentine watered steel blade with ridges at the spine and ornate foliate koftgari at the ricasso. The sculptural handle depicts a bird with a free floating bearing in the mouth with further ornate hand inlaid foliate designs and feather details throughout.
