Examples: -- An Exhibition of Original Drawings by Xavier Martinez, Hill Tolerton Print Rooms, San Francisco, 1915, brochure with text by Porter Garnett (extensive dampstaining). -- Four American Books, Lakeside Press, Chicago, catalog 1930, Xavier Martinez monogram signature on cover, and his signature/inscription on inside cover (toning, edge tears). -- Programs for the 3rd and 4th Annual Art Exhibition of the Starr King Fraternity, Oakland, 1902 and 1904, listings including Martinez, Maynard Dixon, Gotardo Piazzoni, William Keith, and others. With illustrations and Oakland business adverts in back. -- Exhibition of African Negro Sculpture, New York, 1919 (staining). -- San Francisco Art Association 1918 Annual Exhibition, Contemporary American Artists, Palace of Fine Arts, San Francisco. -- Art Gallery Hotel Del Monte, California, with Xavier Martinez's signature. -- Stickney School for Art, Pasadena, 1930-1931, with tipped-in illustrations of instructor's work.
