Chinese 19th Century Blue & White Porcelain double gourd Vase decorated with rows of archaistic "Shou" characters, with 4 character Kangxi mark to recessed base in underglaze blue; together with a round Plate with unglazed base, the center with a Fu Dog, Brocade Ball and Ribbons in underglaze red & blue, the cavetto with repeated calligraphy in 4 rows. Height of vase 9 3/4 inches (24.6 cm.). Diameter of plate 11 3/8 inches (28.5 cm.).

The double gourd vase with age related wear and small scratches, a tiny flake to mouth edge; the plate with wear & scratches, a short hairline from mouth with slight glaze loss, and frits or flakes along mouth edge.
