Tiffany [signature]" Watercolor: approx. 12" x 5", Frame: 20.75" x 13.5" RESERVE Known as the "Resurrection Angel" window, it was created as a memorial for Valeria Gray Treadwell by her husband Colonel Harry H. Treadwell. Treadwell was the manager of of Tiffany and Co. The original watercolor it is in the form of a pair of lancet windows with a trefoil rosette window above them. The window exists at the St. James Episcopal Church, in the Fordham area of the Bronx. St. James Church is a New York City and National landmark. Founded in 1953, it contains six Louis Comfort Tiffany windows, thought to be among some of his finest stained glass works. Two of these windows are signed by Tiffany himself, the Resurrection Angel window being one of them.
