Frank King (American, 1883-1969) An original comic strip of Gasoline Ally with a handwritten letter of correspondence to Mr. Krause dated March 6, 1964, on letterhead from the artist, Frank King at 1845 Pine Tree Road, Winter Park, Florida, signed by Frank King. Also includes a newspaper article from the New York Times dated Friday June 16, 1978, regarding original comic-strip art being sold at Sotheby's Auction house in NYC. Comic strip is framed in wood.
Dimensions: 6 3/8" h x 23 5/8" w sight, 8" h x 24 1/8" w as framed.
Condition: Not examined out of frame. Attached envelope and letter has browning color (foxing) due to age.
