A German electroplated two-handled urn planter
Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik, Geislingen an der Steige circa 1910, retailed by BAZAR COLON
Of traditional neoclassical campagna urn form, a flaring top rim with ovolo decoration, a removable inner liner in possibly brass, twin-handles, the whole heavily embossed with maidens around the main body, all dancing and playing instruments, various repeating classical motifs including fruiting vines and acanthus leaves, all on a knopped pedestal circular base, height 51cm, diameter widest point 34cm.
