Vintage Alice Caviness Green Rhinestone Brooch/Earrings Set, 1940's-1950's. This has an oval large yellow stone in the center with a splash of green and is a faceted oval that is appx. 35mm wide and 31mm tall. Framing that stone is a mix of dark green prong-set rhinestones and aurora borealis green leaves and clear aurora borealis rhinestones. Gold Tone Setting with open back on the large stones and closed back on the others. The brooch is appx. 2-5/8" by 2-1/8" where it is signed Alice Carviness on the oval cartouche. The pinback is built-in to the setting and not a soldered piece across the back. Great attention to detail too with the choise of leaves with the givre leaves. The clip earrings are signed on the back clip mechanism and have a round yellow stone with the same green hint of color and and choice of leaves, faceted beads, and dark green rhienstones and clear aurora borealis stones. They are appx. 1.5" long and 1" wide. All pieces are in very good, if not excellent, condition. Well taken care of. (W101522.11X SS8766 J LD 11/1/22).
