DESCRIPTION: Two matching bronze vases, each featuring ribbing producing a quatrefoil form. Each piece is decorated with a dragon in high relief coiling around its neck, images in relief of floral and foliage designs on the lateral sides, and an image in relief of a qilin on the obverse, and an image in relief of (possibly) the Tianma ("celestial horse") on the reverse. Each piece is embellished with etched foliage, floral, and wave motifs throughout. Each piece is marked on underside with a crest depicting two dragons flanking Han characters.
