This is a rare and gorgeous Coffee/Tea Cup and Saucer set. It is from the Thistledown pattern by Royal Doulton - Made in England.
The set is properly marked with the Royal Doulton mark and name of the pattern.
This pattern was produced between 1956 - 1974. It has very delicate thistledown flowers with red center on white background and silver rim
The set includes:
1 (one) Coffee/Teacup - approx. 3 7/8" in diameter at the rim and 2 1/84" tall
1 (one) Saucer for the cup - 6 1/8" in diameter.
The set is beautiful and will make a wonderful gift or will be a great addition to any vintage china collection.
The set is in good condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. It could have some minimal utensils marks and minimal silver wear.
