Item Details

Description

Yoke back armchair with ogee splat carved in low relief with bat, tassel and other geometric patterns. The serpentine arm rails supported by curved stiles, above the rectangular frame enclosing a seat supported by an apron carved in low relief with the same repeating geometric patterns. The legs are supported by stepped stretchers. 43 1/4 x 23 1/2 x 18 inches. Condition: Good, minor loss to yoke at left joint
