Vintage .950 Silver Sterling Carved Mother-of-Pearl Brooch/Pendant, Floral, Jerusalem Mid-Century. This has a dotted frame with ridged halo and in the center a raised mother-of-pearl carved floral that is bezel-set. The flower with bezel is appx. 30.5mm wide. The entire brooch is appx. 39mm wide. This is both a brooch and a pendant. It has an older locking pinback with a bail and jump ring ready for your chain. It tests as silver and is believed to be .950 rather than .925 for sterling which is typical of many Jerusalem pieces. Very good condition and is signed at the base but part of the mark is cut-off with the scalloped edge. You can make out the tops of most of the letters of Jerusalem. Weight is appx. 9.88 gr.
