Sainte Radegonde, Green Ceramic Ball Vase, White Spiral Ribbon, France, Mid 20th Century.
Created for Les Grands Magasins du Printemps in Paris.
Marked with the number 6 in green.
Height: 22cm.
Sainte Radegonde became well known during the Paris Exposition of 1925. This is an example of their later work, in cooperation with the Primavera factory, as they moved from classic into more decorative objects. This is one of a series that includes white loops decorating their trademark aqua-green earthenware.
