A pair of intriguing, c. 1920 snapshots of a group of African American baseball players. In both photos the men cluster around a white man, who may be a coach. Bats and gloves can be seen in the photos, and the setting appears to be a very large grass sports field (similar to a football field). On the bottom left of one snapshot is a man in the foreground who appears to be wearing a garrison-style cap; it is possible that these players are also soldiers at a military base. Both photos are in very good condition.
