Description
French or Austrian, late 19th century, finely painted plaques in the Sevres style, central plaque artist signed "Gorner", Marie Antoinette holding a bouquet of roses, with cobalt and gilt surround and inscribed "Marie Antoinette", surrounded by 12 additional plaques inscribed and depicting other ladies of the court, set in gilt and gold painted carved and molded composition frame with scrolled feet, 29-1/4 x 29 in. diameter
Note: H. Gorner was a painter in the Berlin porcelain manufactory and had his work exhibition in the London World Exhibition of 1871.

plaques in very good condition (not removed for exam), some separations at laminations, probably regilt, other scattered paint retouch
