Description
DESCRIPTION: Two ancient Zhou dynasty ding ("ritual cauldrons") from the early Eastern Zhou period, each featuring three legs, two handles, and a cover adorned with three rings. Body has two bands of textured decoration while the cover has three textured bands and three plain bands, all concentric. Each leg is embellished with a beast's face, possibly a lion or a tao tie ("gluttonous beast").
