Alfred Hitchcock Presents was a weekly series that ran on both CBS and NBC from 1955-1962 then was renamed The Alfred Hitchcock Hour from 1962-1965. This episode was in season seven that aired on NBC called What Frightened You Fred that aired on May 1, 1962. The episode starred RG Armstrong and a young Ed Asner. It was about a man named Fred Riordan who was recently released from jail and was later contacted by a mobster wanting Fred to kill an associate. Fred agreed but instead got into a bar fight so he could go back to jail rather than follow through with the assassination.
